Huge Egyptian Themed Purse with Celluloid Frame
This purse is a stunning example of the Egyptian revival period, circa 1930. Size 14/0 beads, not "microbeaded", but not every great, desirable purse has to be 16/0 or smaller beads. Dense, wonderful fringe, few if any missing beads, detailed carved celluloid frame, same on both sides. Relined in black, with black and white trim. Could be carried! Gigantic size is 8 1/4" by 13", not including beaded handle. Please note that the dark line in the second photo is a shadow.
